An organization named 'Short by Short' has organized a novel photography competition.

Photos of one’s own district will be submitted on a page called 'Bangladesh in your eyes' on Facebook. The company announced the photo contest in a press release on Friday. On this platform called 'Bangladesh in your eyes' on Facebook, anyone can share their own beautiful pictures of buildings or the nature of Bangladesh. It is mentioned in the press release that the aim of this platform is to encourage the young generation as well as the whole world to know Bangladesh anew. Around the platform, youngsters are sharing their beautiful pictures from different parts of the country. Sometimes there is a picture of the towering nuclear reactor of the Rooppur nuclear power plant taken from a distance, and sometimes the simple life of people in remote areas is seen. Some pictures make the viewer feel proud. Again some pictures impress the nature-loving mind. To showcase these images globally, the platform has organized a photo contest, where there is a chance to win a brand new bike with an iPhone 14.

To participate in the contest, you have to register on the Google form and present three pictures of the development and natural beauty of your district. Anyone can participate in this competition and present Bangladesh as seen through his eyes. 64 photographers selected from 64 districts will be awarded one iPhone 14 each. The process of selecting the winner is also quite novel. Winners will be selected based on 80 percent audience likes, comment shares and 20 percent judges' judgment. First, after the district-wise competition, 64 winners from 64 districts will participate in the divisional competition. Later, 8 people from the divisional stage will compete to become the best of the country. And the contest will continue till October 25. Abu Rayhan Jewel, the leader of the contest organizer 'Short by Short', said, 'Actually, if you search on Google, you cannot find a picture of the development of Bangladesh. The development that has taken place in Bangladesh in the last few years, those pictures do not come. It has been organized so that you can easily find all the pictures of Bangladesh if you search.' Jewel said that any citizen of Bangladesh can participate in this competition by sending photos taken with a phone, camera or any other device. He also said that no photo uploaded previously on social media or any other platform can be sent to this competition. The image submitted for the competition must be copyright free.
